We have enlisted the help of a tour company called Plaza Tours to arrange hotel bookings and intercity transportation during your stay in Jordan.   As our wedding will be held in Aqaba, we plan to facilitate transportation to and from the coastal city and figured we’d show you all the country along the way!   We will be covering the trip and the tour costs for our guests, while we ask that our guests cover their hotel stays. That being said, we ask each of our guests to fill out the following Plaza Tours Form and return it to dima@plaza-tour.com by 11/15/2024 so your hotel bookings are secured and we account for those joining the tours and the trips down to Aqaba.

See our suggested itinerary below:   Saturday, May 24th or Sunday, 25th (AMMAN) Arrival in Amman: Check into the Ritz-Carlton (recommended) and explore Amman. Please note that May 25th is Jordan's Independence Day so enjoy a July 4th-like celebration.     Monday, May 26th (AMMAN) Morning: Join fellow guests on an Amman Day Tour, organized by the bride and groom. Evening: Join us for a Welcome to Amman cocktail event.     Tuesday, May 27th (PETRA AND WADI RUM) Morning: Check out from the Ritz-Carlton and embark on a scenic journey organized by the couple to explore Petra and Wadi Rum and take us to our wedding destination in Aqaba. The buses will depart from the Ritz-Carlton Amman. Noon: Join the guided tour of the iconic Petra. Lunch is provided. Afternoon: Experience a stunning desert sunset in Wadi Rum. Night: Option 1 (recommended): Glamp under the stars in Wadi Rum ( a highly discounted rate under Hotels tab and you can book through our travel agent). Option 2: After the Wadi Rum sunset tour, board the bus to Aqaba (a short 40-minute drive) and spend the night in Aqaba. In Aqaba, we recommend our guests to stay at Hyatt Regency Aqaba ( a highly discounted rate under Hotels tab and you can book through our travel agent).     Wednesday, May 28th Morning: If you stayed overnight in Wadi Rum, hop on the provided bus to Aqaba ( 40-min drive). In Aqaba, we recommend our guests to stay at Hyatt Regency Aqaba ( a highly discounted rate under Hotels tab and you can book through our travel agent). If you're already in Aqaba, take the morning to explore the city, enjoy the beach, or go to the spa. Evening: Celebrate with us at the Welcome to Aqaba cocktail event.     Thursday, May 29th Morning: Enjoy Aqaba’s beaches, water activities, shopping, or sightseeing and get ready for our big wedding event. Evening: Join us for our Wedding Day and get ready to party the night away.     Friday, May 30th: On the day after the wedding, we plan to facilitate transportation for our guests to either the Dead Sea or Amman so they may continue on with their travels. We recommend the following three options depending on your travel arrangements: 1. Return to Amman via a provided bus (4 hours) 2. Take a provided bus to the Dead Sea (3 hours) where you may spend your last night. ( request a hotel room from our travel agent). 3. ⁠Book a flight from Aqaba (AQJ) to Amman (AMM) (45 min) Transportation to the Amman Airport (AMM) from the Dead Sea is roughly 1 hour and we advise facilitating it in advance through Plaza Tours as Ubers or Taxi Cabs may be difficult to arrange at a reasonable cost.
